PIECE-NV

Promoting Inclusive Early Childhood Experiences in Nevada (PIECE-NV) aims to increase the inclusion of young children with disabilities in Nevada’s early childhood system by supporting our higher education programs that prepare the next generation of professionals.

PIECE-NV focuses on four outcomes:

  • Enhanced Inclusive Curriculum: Develop and enhance inclusive programs for diverse young learners at NSHE institutions.
  • Increased Capacity for Instructors: Boost instructors’ ability to train confident and competent ECE professionals.
  • Strengthened Educational Pathways: Create agreements to ease the transition from associate to bachelor’s programs.
  • Collaboration and Learning: Foster stronger relationships and shared learning among NSHE colleagues.
